I am working through Sears Commercial Parts Direct and I cannot find that correct model number. Double check. Filters do not suddenly stop flow. Water control valves yes and when you have an ice maker the water valve has two sides. Water control valves are located most times on rear of refrigerator and near floor where the house hold water enters the refrigerator. Sometimes hiding behind a paper cover. Your number really looks good to me and I was surprised that it will not work. Double check and correct that number and I will be able to assist you better. In a way I wish Sears would not change the numbers. The 525 in the number is who made your model and 525 does not come up. Sea Breeze

Kenmore side by side,no water going into the the Ice maker

"IF" the unit worked before the filter change you have to check a few things. First I want you to run a few cups of water from the in door water dispenser to make sure that all the air is out of the line and out of the filter. IF you encounter any sputtering in doing this it means that the air is coming out of the system. Keep it up until the sputtering stops then let it make ice until the cubes come out. Most of the time the air in the filter takes a few days to process thru the system and start filling the ice tray.
Second if the water comes thru ok without sputtering after five cups then check where the water goes into the back of the freezer compartment. disconnect the fitting and check for ice at that point. if ice get a pan of hot water and dip that end into it to melt the ice in the tube and then afterwards, reinstall it in the back of the fridge and make some ice. You can verify that it is not a valve problem by putting the tube end in a plastic container and letting the ice maker go thru a cycle or two. water should come out and be in the container in the amount of water it takes to fill the ice maker tray.
Third, is the check process of item two. Verify if water comes thru the tubing to fill the ice maker, If not, turn off the water valve supplying the fridge and check for grit in the line clogging the opening in the valve. if grit is present clean it as best you can. IF you have the proper tools and knowledge you can back flush the valve and remove the grit blocking the valve..
This should clear the line and verify proper working of the water control valve and filter. If at any point you have a failure in the checking process it should point you to the failure rather easily. If you suspect it is the valve verify from the label on it the operating voltage and IF, AND ONLY IF, you have a knowledge of electricity and test procedures test the valve with the proper voltage applied. IF you do not understand electricity, do not do it. you might injure yourself or worse.

Goodluck in your testing.

Kenmore washer model 110 82781800 won't cylce, just hear timer ticking

If the motor is going thru cycles and the agitator doesn't move, than it means the drive link snapped. cheap repair. it was made to protect the motor and trans. Read the manual before doing this. it will show you how to do it easily. iv'e done mine around 4 times. my wife keeps jamming too many clothes into the thing.
good luck

Thru the door component stop working...what parts need replaced? going to take? lights come one but nothing works...water or ice.

It sounds like one of two things 1. your water filter is clogged or frozen, if you still have the bypass try that. if it works after that you just need a new filter, around $40 or 2. your waterline is frooze, try pulling out the crisper drawers anf heating the line with a hair dryer
Good luck

Both the ice dispenser and the water dispenser quit at the same time on my kenmore 52559100 refrigerator. The icemaker still functions. Possible solutions? Thanks.

Check the wiring plug where the wires connect from the fridge and the door. Sounds like you may have a bad connection or it has come unplugged.

Water does not stop when in spin cycle,# 23032

Check three things. Check your Water inlet valve with a multimeter, check your timer and you water sensor. All can be found behind the knobs by removing two side screws and 4 screws in the back of the unit. If this helped please rate. Thank you

No water

hey we got this one.the buzz is the water valve solinoid energizing when you push the paddle for chilled water,so power is passing thru switches in your refer and getting to the water valve.[good]then we need the water to do its thing, and even though you said you changed the filter[i would'nt have yet],because there was work going on for the water lines.there may have been tons of minerals broken loose.the water valve also has screens to catch minerals and stop them from entering water valve.some water valves are not cleanable.if yours not im sorry replce the valve.if it is you will see the way as you inspect..................but heres a very important matter.before you replace valve, filter or anything that has been blocked by a mineral blast, flush your lines in a bucket.other wise you just recontaimanate with whats still in the lines.i know it took a lot of words to say a little.and it didnt come out just as i was thinking it but i hope that helps.God bless ,tom
