The washer did work at first, Then I came down and it was full of water. It did the wash but it did not drian or rinse. Now when I try to get it to drian it starts to fill up with more water. Is the fix as easy as ordering a part and changing it. Like the control knob ??

Hello it could be your lint filter or a hose is blocked by an object. May be even in the pump. Had a similar problem with our Maytag. Cheers.

Why the washing machine Not drain after finish cycle work

I suggest to check filter, drain pump, drain hose, wiring ane element which control drain cycle (electronic or programmer).
The simplest would be to download the drain hose and turn it in the bathtub or sink, and then run a short draining program.
If you hear the pump work and the machine doesn't drain water then is a mechanical failure, for example; foreign body in the filter or in the drain pump turbine, crimped or blocked drain hose. Also, could be clogged drain pipe in the wall. If you do not hear the pump work then is obviously a electrical malfunction.

It wont work it flashes fl

the Fl code indicates an overfill condition. If the washer is empty, then you likely have a problem with the water level pressure switch. If the washer is full of water and will not drain, you likely have a problem with the drain pump or the washer drain line.

If the washer is full of water, make sure that the washer drain is clear and working properly. Check the drain hose for kinks or clogs. If you find no problems with these issues, I recommend that you manually drain the washer using a wet/dry shop vacuum. Check the drain pump and connecting hoses for problems. You may need to replace the drain pump of water will drain out of the washer properly but the pump will not work properly. A clog in the check ball assembly at the bottom of the tub can also prevent the washer from draining properly.

I have a Roper washing machine and it will not drain the water?

Most common causes for a machine that won't drain are:

  1. Clogged drain tube
  2. Clogged drain hose
  3. Clogged drain pump
To diagnose, remove the drain hose from the drain tube and look for water in the tube. A clog will force water back into the machine. If this is clear, some debris could have worked it's way into the drain hose itself. Check this by removing the hose and inspect for a blockage. If both are fine, the problem is most likely in the drain pump. Many times, a piece of paper left in a pocket will work it's way into the drain pump and get lodged.

Washer will not drain water frigidaire

Hi
If the washer is not draining then it is due to a clogged drain pump or a drain filter or a kinked drain hose. To resolve the issue you'll need to clean the drain hose, inspect if the drain hose is plugged. If the hose is fine, then remove the front kick panel and access the drain pump and filter, if you are unable to find the pump and filter remove the back panel as well and trace the drain hose to the bottom of the tub. There is a drain filter connected with the drain pump. It usually gets clogged, and needs to be cleaned every 6-8 months or so. The drain filter is a small white filter connected to drain pump with a hose. If it still doesn't work then you'll need to check the connections of the drain pump, check the electrical connections with a multimeter. If it still doesn't work then you would need to replace the drain pump. Please revert for any further assistance.
Hope this helps...

Will not fill with water goes right down the drain, works sometimes

Your drain line is too low or there is a air gap blockage.
Remove the drain line from the drain and hold it up high while filling with water and see if it fills and stops.
If so, correct the drain line problem. The drain hose should be 36 inches from the floor.
