My dyson 28 will not suck

If you have cleaned the pre filter and the motor filter, there's also a valve in the top that if it gets totally plugged, will open. Sometimes those get stuck open. Also check inside the head where the pickup hose is, you can get a build up of hair in there and it will plug the hose. I've have to disassemble the top of the vacuum head to be able to get to that.

I HAVE TURNED THE FILTERS AND i HAVE WASHED THE FILTERS A WEEK AGO THE LIGHT IS STILL FLASHING AND THE VACUM WONT GO AT ALL.

Cleaning th exhaust filter may help. There are two exhaust filters. The standart filter which must be cleaned every 5-7 years, and the Hepa filter which must be cleaned every 2-3 years. There is no difference in how the filteres are cleaned or fitted. Remove the dust container by pressing the release button at the back of the vacuum cleaner and lifting the container.
Lift the two snap catches at the back edge of the vacuum clean and open thefilter cover. Lift out the filter.
Rinse the inside (dirty side) in lukewarm tap water. Repeat the process four times. (Note: do NOT use cleaning agents and avoid touching the filter surface. Let the filter dry and replace.

On the back of my lg kompressor vacuum below the retractable cord is a suction plug that keeps sucking in when the vacuum is turned on it is supposed to stay out the increase suction. what is the solution...

Remove the hose fitting on the lower back of the vacuum and you will probably find a large amount of debris lodged in the hose. That hose leads to an opening right behind the main roller brush. If you remove the brush, it is easier to remove any clogs that are inside the hose. Once you have checked that there is no clogs in that hose reconnect the hose and the brush. You should then remove all three filters and wash only the two filters inside the canister. The third filter is a HEPA filter located in a compartment on the lower front side of the vacuum. Make sure you do not wash the HEPA filter.Clean it by tapping it inside a trash can outside the house since a lot of dust will come out of it. Once the other two filters are dry, put them back inside the canister and also jake sure that the canister is empty and clean.

How do I install new filters on a Miele Blue Moon?

There are two filters on the blue moon. The hepa filter and the motor filter. You get to both filters the same way. You open the lid, like you do when you change a bag. The motor filter is right behind the bag inside a plastic cover. There should be two tabs you can pull down to open and access the filter. The hepa filter is located toward the back of the bag chamber but on top. There is one tab in the middle that lift up on.

Hi there I have a Shop.Vac QS800 57519-63 its about 6 years old. I don't have manual for it & want to know how I can use it in the wet mode Thanks for your help. Jasper

To use a shop vac to **** up water you just need to remove the filter element inside. open it up just as if you were going to empty out the dirt and on the top center you will see a filter. unscrew the retaining nut on the bottom and remove filter. After unit is dry and you are done using it in the wet mode replace the filter and put the retaining nut back on.

Electrolux #1521 Canister Vacuum won't stay closed

hi from uk your problem with the canister cover/door coming off whilst vaccing ? you have renewed bag ? ok but there is a filter/gauze also inside the canister where bag is fitted if you check inside you should see the filter at opposite end from where bag is secured it is usually fitted behind a slotted pull out plastic gate ? this filter/gauze is to allow air out of canister when vaccing and the filter traps any dust that may accumulate inside the canister case so the dust does not get blown out to atmosphere/rooms SO if this filter is clogged it will not allow vacced air to escape out of canister so result is build up of pressure within cylinder and eventually cover flips open ! so for now you can remove filter/gauze and wash then dry refit this will allow air to escape from canister but still retain dust particles from escaping as it is designed for however may i suggest you replace filter when convenient ? all above is on assuming that the latch on cover is working ok and not now damaged ? hope this helps best wishes

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. The sounds coming from the motor sounds like it is the 2 sheet metal fans that do loosen up and start to make noise; and if you are handy and can do service work yourself you can replace the fans, but make sure you mark the wires when you remove the wire and the motor. If you have questions feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or cal the Filter Queen cust serv line listed below. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Filter queen majestic vacuum

The cone filter if put on right should collect the dirt, the tabs shoud be on the edge so when you put the top on, it keeps it in place. Wish I could help more, guess I would have to see it to figure it out. Here is a pic. of the top part, are all filters ok? There is one under the round card-board besides the one at the bottom of the motor. #18 is the filter.
