I just bought battlefield bad company 2. i have a 12 month gold xbox live subscription and all my xbox live family settings are open and unlocked. But whenever i try to create an EA account to play online it says ''Your gamer profile does not have the correct permissions to access xbox live funcionality'' has anybody found a solution for this problem?
Guys - here's the deal. doesn't matter what your parental settings are. If you used your birthday day when creating your xbox live gamer profile, which can't be changed even by microsoft xbox live support, and your under 18, then your out of luck. Call xbox live supports 800 number and explain the problem. you will eventually talk to a supervisor and they will offer a 6 month free subscription to xbox live which you use to create a new profile (with an adults date of birth). You can use your old profile for other game until it runs out, then let it expire.
Dont know, im having the exact same problem' Your gamer profile does not have correct permission to access XBox Live functionality' , my mates are playing it fine but im getting the same msg. also when i tried register my 360 gamertag personna on EA.com it just comes up with 'system error, try later'...
If you find a solution let me know
