-   After turning on the Zen V ( not the Zen V plus), the screen goes totally red, you cannot read the menu or playlists or anything. I tried the reset button, but that didn't so the trick. Any ideas on how to salvage this player, it is my 14 year old daughter's and she is so sad to not have her music. Can you help??-   emisar12

I have a Sony Walkman cd player that requires an ac adapter that supplies 4.5 volts and is rated at a maximum output of 1,000 milliamps. I found that it will run on a Philips adapter that is 4.5 volts and 250 milliamps. Will the Phillips adapter cause any harm to the cd player? The player is a Sony Walkman D-EJ011, though this website will not recognize it as a "valid product." It is a current model. I have had to choose a different model number to proceed with this request.
