I got the same problem with my G1. Yes you can scan image to make it work but this does not really fix the problem. After doing this, cloase the camera and opne it again, more than 50% chance the problem comes back.

To clear the ALBUM DATA ERROR message from a Sony G1, go to the camera's menu go to Home scroll over to Memory, scroll down to Internal Memory, and select Scan images. This may take a while if you have many pictures, and you might want to put it on the charger to avoid running down your battery, but this should clear the problem.

Hi - I am getting an error message when i switch on my Sony Cybershot dsc t9 saying access and then it flashes format error C13.01 - can you advise how to resolve?

It might be due to a bad contact of the placed memorycard.

1. Pull the memorycard out and in the camera several times and retry.
2. If not OK, format the card in the camera. If that does not work, format it in the computer.
3. Try another memorycard and recheck.

On my sony dsc-g1 camera when i turn it on it has a saying across the viewing screen that says album data error and i need to know how to get that off.

This worked for me on my Sony Cyber Shot dsc-g1. I would suggest connecting your camera to your PC and downloading your photos first. They are still on your camera - even if you can't view the album.

1. Press the HOME button and select Media Tools from the menu.

2. Select General -> Check Album

3. Select OK in the Check Album menu.

4. The Recovery data... message will be displayed.

Note: Depending on the circumstances, restoring the album data may or may not be possible .

5. Once the recovery process is completed. The menu will return to Check Album.

6. Turn the camera power off and then turn it on again. If the error message still persists, please approach the local service center for assistance.

Deleted photo recovery from cameras internal memory

Hi,

Please try this, turn on your camera, insert a blank memory stick, slide the side switch down to the lowest point, should say “No file in this folder” click on menu, click on Setup, use the arrows and go to Memory Stick, choose “Copy” choose “Album” the “OK” this will copy all you pictures from the Album in your camera to your memory stick.

Hope this helps

Memry card error Sony DSC-V1

Hopefully you've resolved this by now, but if you still have the corrupted card then I should be able to recover any files from it for you, reformat the card, and return the card and data back to you. I use EasyRecovery Professional which certainly wasn't cheap but has never failed me yet.

No charge, you just pay for postage both ways.

Hi

Switch your camera to Setup on the control **** located on the top.

Take out the memory stick and press the reset button located inside the battery compartment.

Now switch on the camera and insert the memory stick.

If you do not get the error go to the little toolbox on the menu. Select the format option and proceed through the warning messages. Remeber you will loose all data on the memory stick.

Things should now work. If not some simple thing that sound bezare but has worked for me is pushing the memory stick in and out before the camera displays the error. Do this several times until the camera actually reads the stick and them format the stick first chance you get.

Good luck.
