To change the color settings, you must first change from "auto" to "manual". Turn camera on, press "function". Use the navigation dial to go to the right one step to "camera M". You can now scroll down to the "my colors" icon & make your changes.

  • Settings cannot be reset when the camera is connected to a computer or to a printer.
  • The following cannot be reset:
    • Shooting mode

    • Colors specified in the [Color Accent] or [Color Swap] modes of My Colors
    • Newly added My Camera settings

Turn the camera on and do the following:

Press Menu
Press to the right once
Press up once
Press Function Set
Press Right
Press Function Set

That is the key sequence on that model to do a soft reset. If you still have problems, try emailing: www.camerasandparts.com as they specialize in the service for these Powershots. They're fantastic if you should further help, they're the place for the powershots. Good luck with it.
