Question about Canon PIXMA iP4200 InkJet Photo Printer
I installed new cartridges in my 2 year old printer but the magenta cartridge doesn't work. Bought another Canon cartridge, but I still get an unblinking red light above the cartridge. The printer won't print anything, even documents with no color. What can I do to convince the printer it has ink? JC Juneau, Alaska
Is the replacement a "genuine Canon™ Ink Cartridge," or a generic? Sometimes the little chip on the generic cartridges don't communicate with the printer properly, and the printer decides that the ink cartridge is bad.
