Dirt Devil Breeze-Bagless Vacuum

Hi
My Dirt Devil seems to all of a sudden started to spit the dirt out and not suck it up. Is there a reverse button that I must have pushed by accident? Or is it time for a new vacuum? Thanks so much for your help!!

The bottom doesn't seem to be sucking much up even on tile & I don't think the brush is spinning after something got caught in it. What do I need to do?

You probably have a clog either in the hose , wands, or the dirt inlet by the brush roll.

Dirt devil breeze bagless height adjustment mafunction

Hi there! If your vacuum is suddenly hard to push your roller lifter assembly, which controls the automatic height adjustment, may be damaged or broken. Check your roller lifter assembly located underneath your unit for damages. Also, your brushes help to maneuver through carpet, check that your brushes are still spinning. If not, replace the belt on your vacuum. I have included a link where you may visit to purchase a replacement belt for your vacuum. Hope this helps!

How do I replace the power cord on my dirt devil

Not an easy chore since the cord goes directly to the motor terminals with spade connectors on the end of the wire. The job requires the complete disassembly of the vacuum cleaner

Dirt Devil bagless upright. sucks up dirt in the front and spits it out in the back. I have taken it apart to check for visible clogs in hoses and checked belt and rollers all of which are fine. what next?

There seems to be no vacuum drawing the debris away from the brush head. Remove the debris canister to check for air blowing into it. Check particularly, the area where the brush head pivots off of the upright portion. Hope this helps!

Dirt Devil Upright Bagless Vibe Vacuum no longer sucks

Sounds like there's a clog in the long hose that connects to the dirt canister. Remove the hose completely and check for clogs. There is a blue plastic piece that the hose is attached to. You can remove it by taking out the two screws in the back, and the four screws behind the dirt canister. Once those are removed, the hose comes away from the vacuum with the blue plastic piece attached. That should allow you to check for clogs. If necessary, take the hose outside or a place that is well lit, so you can visually verify the absence of clogs.
