I found out I also had no system sounds, so I reloaded the realteck audio driver and then I had no sound from any source (including CD's that played fine before). I finally called the Dell Support Center and we figured out that if the speakers were plugged into the front jacks, I had sound from all sources (including flash player and media player). But I couldn't get sound out of any of the back jacks. So they decided that I had a motherboard problem and are sending me a replacement.

My suggestion would be to remove / uninstall any & all Adobe flash player software on your system - restart - then do a new clean install of the version you are told you need by Adobe.

Here's a link ref: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Hope this helps.

Yamaha RX-V595 Receiver will play Dolby Digital 3/2.1 audio Blu-Ray disc with player set to bitstream but will not play DTS-HD 3/2.1 unless output is set to PCM. Is this an issue with the Yamaha Recei

The optical connection (SPDIF) doesn't have enough bandwidth to transfer DTS-HD audio. To use DTS-HD, you must connect the blue-ray player and receiver via HDMI cable.

Each DTS-HD audio track on blue-ray includes also "normal" DTS audio, which is probably used when you select PCM. Player decodes it and sends decoded (non-HD) audio via optical cable to receiver.

Is it possible to download music from You Tube without the video, just the music ?

Use the keepvid.com site to download an MP4 version of the video.

Then, use an MP4 demultiplexer to split out the audio. You can find such a tool here:

DVBPortal

You may need to change this audio file into something you can play on an MP3 player, but iTunes may be able to do the conversion for you.

I turn on my DVD player and it will say "f61" and turn off.

Hi,
I you can try this option:
1. Unplug the power cord.
2. Wait five minutes to let residual power dissapate from unit,
3. Use electronic contact cleaner with thin red spray tube and spray inside each input/ouput jack in back,
4. Clean each patch cord lead and also do same for speaker output connectors.
5. Do the same to AM/FM antenna outputs. The contact cleaner has high flash and evaporates quickly. (also try to use compressed air in can with same red tube).
Cheers!!

When i turn on my mp3 player the sandisk screen keeps repeating and doesn't go into my options (music radio video etc) Help me asap as I'm heading to the gym in 1 hour and need my music! mandy

Hi, Shut it down for 30 mins and put it on back. If it does not work that way, that means it is affected by Virus, and will need to be flashed to play normal again.

You can use this link to see more about flashing :

Take care.

Audio glitch on Marantz SR-19

It's probably not heat due to the Marantz' large frame and heat-synchs.
This could simply be a mismatch of impedance. The amp is 120w per channel, so make sure the speakers can handle this. Check the impedance (ohms) of the speakers and the amp as well. Clipping can be caused by overpowering the speakers, which could damage the speakers in the long-run.
If this is only from 1 source- (i.e.- Blu-ray player or cable) then it could be digital clipping.. This Marantz can decode 96kHz PCM or normal Dolby Digital & DTS. If this is a Blu-ray it may be streaming 192kHz PCM... (but most likely the Marantz will not even attempt to play that audio)
I hope this helps.

JVC KD-G431 IN CAR CD PLAYER "000ZAAA" Error

I had the same problem. It started when I tried to play an MP3 track from a "Creative Zen Vision M" Media Player. The result was the same as you describe = Maddening. It was extremely annoying that the CD player did not work. I thought I had broken the equipment.

Then my wife read the product hand book , and noticed on page 2 http://jvcmobile.co.uk/documents/products/KD-G431%20Instructions.pdf it showed, where using a pen you can reset the equipment back to the original settings. I thought I might as well give a try. It worked = Fixed. Amazing. I was so relieved. Such an easy solution.

Give it a go. I reckon there is a good chance it will fix your problem, and you will also be very relieved. Just use a basic MP3 player in future. GOOD LUCK !!!

Dvd will not play

Either the disc is wrong format for player or it is extremely dirty. Clean off with windex or some other type cleaner. Also, will it play an audio CD? Let me know and we can go from there. GURU JAY
