Alright, In that case all you have to do is to download the music and I believe that you save them on the disk first. Please make a not of the path that you are saving the music or videos to.

Then please open that folder (in case you are using Vista lime wire would by default create a folder called lime wire saved under Users. Now once the file is saved please open that folder and then right click on the files you would like to have on to the USB device that you would like to transfer them and click on send to the drive letter that is mentioned for the USB drive. And it would be copied on to the USB key that you are using.

In case there is any further disconnect... Reply back and I would be glad to be of further assistance.

Regards,

Preeti Mekala.

Location of speaker port

There are two....the main one is the round lime-green one next to the pink one on rear of the tower, just below the round PS/2 keyboard and mouse connectors.

The other one is on the front at the bottom, next to the two USB ports.

Where do you plug in the mp3 player to transfer music?

You MP3 player will be supplied with USB cable. Attach the cable to the MP3 player and plug the other end of the cable into a computer's USB port.
The computer will see this as an removable device, you can then open this device and copy mp3 music files from your computer and paste these files into your MP3 player.

I had to clean my computer of dust and in doing so i un hooked all the wires and dont know where most of them go

YEAH! those are always fun,

you cant put a plug where it does not belong.

for internal wires, make sure the one attached to HD is plugged into the port with "PRI" written next to it, the rest will fit where they belong. if your reconnecting front pannel wires see the manual, you can download one from the manfacture.

any specific device on the inside?

for external wires (video, sound, keyboard) they should be color coded. the keyboard will go into the round purple port (unless its USB then just plug it into a USB port). the Mouse will go into a round Green port (again same thing with the USB). the monitor will only plug into the port that it will fit into. speakers tend to favore the light green 1/8th inch barrel jack, though i have seen some use the black one. mic is almost always the purple 1/8th inch barrel jack. (1/8th inch barrel jack is the same used for a MP3 player to connect to head phones)

the easiest way to find the speaker is to play some music then play pick a hole till speakers play sound.

My usb ports stopped working . i can;t download music to my ipod. i've tried all 6 of the usb ports with same resukts

Have you tried a different cable? If the cable is custom, sorry you will need to buy a new one to try it.
Plug in another USB device. Is this OK?
Do you use a USB Mouse? Try all the ports.
iPod cables are easily damaged. Ipod docks can be broken by force, twisting or dropping. Insert the iPod into the dock at the correct angle, gently.
Take care to insert the iPod cable straight, right side up. Do not drop the iPod with the cable inserted.
A foreign object like lint, dirt, paper or hair may be stuck in the connector. NEVER clean the connector with a metal object. Use a toothpick, carefully.

Exceeding power in usb port

You will have to disconnect some usb items first.

If you have a HUB then disconnect that and same if you have a usb printer.
That should let you then copy.

USB ports can only supply so much current and too many devices without thier own power will overload it just as you are seeing.

Does not read my PNY MICRO SD card to down load my lime wire musi

You may have to format the disk. Right click my computer and click manage. Then click Disk Management and in the right hand side select the 4Gb memory (it will show up as 3. something Gb). and click format (provided there is nothing on it). Format as FAT or FAT32 and when it's done, it should show up in my computer as a disk.

It's illegal to download copyright music, you should buy it if you like the artist's product.
Check your net connection, and that Limewire has Peers connected. Also check your spelling... but not everything is on Limewire.
