You nee to find the maker of your sound system. This can be different for all PC's. One you have that information, you can download the drivers from their website. Your sound card in embedded in *********** board, so all you have to do is visit the motherboard's site, determine the sound card manufacturer, go to that site and download the drivers.

The reboot sounds like a memory issue.. or a virus.. normally a failure message comes up when trying to install the wrong driver.. regardless of the OS.
It sounds to me like a H/W issue..I've never had a PC reboot because of a driver install problem.. it simply doesn't work.. but it doesn't reboot.. this PC has an on-board sound card.. If you don't want to chuck the motherboard.. disable the on-board sound card and then install a separate sound card and try that..
