Will a coil rail plug up to the coil plug on a 98 grand cherokee laredo

The 98 Laredo has a traditional coil and cap and rotor- correct?

If that is the case and if are asking if a coil pack will work, I don't think so, since coil packs are electronically controlled by an ignition control module which connected to the ECM.

Can i use a transmition from 1998 grand cherokee laredo 4wd to a jeep laredo 1998 4.0 4wd. will work same trnsmition?

Hi Jose, I've never tried but if you go visit a breakers yard and compare the physical dimensions of both boxes and they match up, there is no reason why they should not. Most manufactures use the same units in a variety of models and if you've found a similar vehicle with identical uses the parts are most likely interchangeable. Regards John
