-   I have the same problem, but with a Kenmore 15892. The workaround has been to turn this into a "manual" dishwasher. When the cycle clock hits 76 I open the dishwasher door so the soap dish opens all the way and the soap packet drops into the dishwasher. At the end of the rinse cycle, just before drying starts (at the 32 minute point), I open the dishwasher again and manually rinse the dirty glasses and dishes. The dirt is sediment that has been pushed into the glasses on the top rack and in the corners (front and rear). Some large bowls on the bottom have sediment, as does the side of a cutting board facing the side of the dishwasher. This is very perplexing because the glasses did not have visible dirt on them at the start of the cycle, but the dishwasher shot the dirt in but is unable to clean it out.Over the years we have used powdered soap, liquid, tablets and currently use (Cascade) gel packs: they all leave dirt.
I hope to find out what causes this so I know what to look out for before purchasing a new dishwasher.-   AlanS1

-   Dishes do not get clean and the soap remains in the dispenser though it does open and some of the soap spills out. I took everything apart cleaning anything I could and adjusted the hot water heater to make the water hotter. If I rotate the timer manually after the complete cycle I can drain any additional water out so I know the pump is working.-   c214dick

Our dishwasher is not ejecting water at the end of the cycle and we have already cleaned out clogged hoses.
We have the same problem. Ours wasn't draining, then my husband took it apart and cleaned any screens and filters he could find. He put it back together, it goes through all the motions, but the dishes are still dirty? Anyone please help!
we have a brand new set that came with the house we built and it doesn't drain and leave the dishes dirty. what do we do?

We have the same problem. Been getting worse over the last 2 months, with a LOT of soap build up in the all the water holes. I have to constantly scrape them out. I've switched soaps 4 times, thinking it was that. Finally had the repairman out and we cleaned out all the residue, only to find that now the pump isn't draining the tub. All the dirty water is recirculated. I spent $115 for the first "repair" and now will need a $50 pump and another $100 in labor, apparently. This dishwasher is only 2.5 yrs old!
I have the same problem. the dishwasher goes through all the motions of a clean cycle, but there is at least half of the soap left in the dispenser and the dishes are grimy...any thoughts anyone?
