Same problem, oven light does not go off with any setting other than pyrolytic stttings, in addtion fan and fan element do not heat oven.

Think from surfing that it may all be down to fan element??

    Please confirm same....

Bottom light stays on unless switching to pyroclean. The only thing working on the bottom oven is the grill.

The problem is due to a faulty door switch, this is part of the door lock mechanism. The reason is that the oven thinks the door is open , this puts on the light and stops some of the oven functions ie the fan the fan element and probably the bottom element.
The answer is to fit a new door lock mechanism.

and how do you fit that door lock mechanism. I have got a new one which I confirmed with De Dietrich was the right part but the cabling looks completely different to the original - any ideas?

Hot air blowing out at the top of De Dietrich oven, just after putting on new oven seal, fan seems ok what could it be.

Pending on the location of the oven (i.e. not where the seal is) it could be natural ventilation of the oven. Many ovens have ventilation underneath the stovetop.

This is telling you that the oven is locked. You will need to unlock it to use it.

My de dietrich oven is not heating. the light and fan are ok

If the fan is working o/k, then the oven element is most likely faulty.
This is located at the rear of the oven compartment behind a removeable cover.

I need to remove an integrated oven - any advice please

The main advice is to make sure that the AC power breaker and isolation switches are off before you do anything else. Once the oven is pulled forward support it on a bench if it is up high or on a piece of wood if it is low. Then disconnect the electricty supply cable from the rear of the oven and either terminate it safely or remove it from the isolation switch.
