Hi there,
Hopefully you can help. I have my domain name and webhosting all in place. And I used the Macromedia wizard to enter the remote ftp host, username, password etc. Then I put together a quick page to upload as my initial homepage. I connected via Macomedia to my website which at the momet has a standard page on it from my server (place-holding it). Now I want to get rid of that and "publish" my first page. HOWEVER, when I hit publish, it says I can't upload it because 1) there is no link to the new page from the page already there and 2) I can't edit the page already there (I'm sure because it is my server's page) to add that link. HELP!!!
Any assistance you can give me would be MUCH appreicated - I'm not tech-savvy but can follow easy directions.
Thanks very much,
SC
example use ftp://domain.com instead of http://domain.com
it can also shows in Internet explorer like a normal Folder view
in that u can copy paste the pages / folder in will easy manner
and also u can delete or edit an pages / folder drag and drop is also possible
use File zilla.exe , ftp commander.exe to get connection to the server of that ip address may also connect by url address
