Where are the timing marks on a 2004 honda accord 4cyl with a timing chain?

there are lines on the cams that need to line up with each other in the center and there is a mark for the crank gear that you line up with the little triangle mark behind it.If you line up the white mark on the crank pulley and have the valve cover off so you can make sure you dont have the engine 180 out and dont move anything once you remove the tensioner you should do fine.

How to line crank and cam for timing belt on 1988 no crank marks

Hard to explain here... but I believe that car also has the balance shaft which needs to be timed as well. The camshaft has 2 lines which line up to the top of the head, and a "up" or "top" mark at the top.
Crank is set to 0 degrees.

Timing belt

Well basicaly there is no adjustment it has timing marks and the belt goes on with the marks on the points.cam pulley has a stamped mark up with line marks that go evenly one on each side has to be even with top of the head.crank pulley the woodruff key goes straight up facing the cam pulley. The balance pulley has a v mark on the pulley and a mark on the block and those go together, dont worry about the water pump there is not timing mark on that.Good Luck
