You listed your problem ubder: modems. A modem you do not need to protect further. You can only use the connection by hooking up a cable to it. If you have a wireless router connected to your modem that should be secured. You do this by entering a security code in the setup of the router. just enter the router's IP address in your web browser, log in to it,go to the security tab under wireless setup and enter a security code. (write it down because you will need it to connect wireless). You can not connect to it without this code. This way your wireless connection is secured and can not be used by outsiders.

You can secure your wireless network wit WEP or WAP code.
For that Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link.
http://192.168.0.1
or
http://192.168.1.1
For belkin router http://192.168.15.1
or
http://192.168.2.1

If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it.
Then it ask for user name and password.
Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank.
Then you can see configuration page of router.
Click on wireless settings WEP Security then add WEP code .It is your password to connect wi fi.Then save settings and restart router.
If you already set the code then if you can read it then you can ser it in wireless but if it is in 8 or # format then add new wep code .
Then you can connect your wi fi network with that code.

Make sure there is a network cable going from your ADSL modem into the WAN connection of the router.

If the ADSL modem is wireless, then it is also a router in whihc case you will want to bypass the WL-342 all together.

Well Vodafone is a DSL connection, Do u have a modem or not, If u dont have modem then this router won't work,and if u have modem

- router page - http://www.routerlogin.com
- username and password is admin and password.
-- run the setup wizard
-- Apply the basic settings
-- change the wireless settings
-- check the router status in left side
-- u need a ip address under Internet port in router status.
-- try to connect all the wireless computer

When you try to connect to the internet, you must create the new internet connection first, this because you use the difrerent hardware or modem to connect to the net. All you have to do is configure the new connection use your UK SKY Sagem modem and fill all the required input include your dial up number and so on. This is HOW:

Start Menu>Connect To>Show All Connection>Create The New Connection>>>> Follow the wizard>PRESS Next>Connect To Internet>Setup Connection Manually>Choose your Hardware/Modem (UK SKY Sagem Modem)>Use Dial Up Modem>Enter Your Connection Name>Enter Your dial-up Numbers>Enter Your Passwords>Confirm>DONE.

Since it succeeded, you should see the new connection on Start Menu>Connect To>>>

Access your router login page by entering 192.168.1.1 on the URL address bar, go to security and find PSPK code, that is a pre shared pass key, enter the password there and restart, now your wireless connection requires the password. Hope this will solve the problem

sorry, LAN feeds are one way.the wii should have an internal wireless card for net connections though, assuming you have a wireless modem.

if you are using a siemens 4100 modem alone.. siemens 4100 modem has no wireless capabilty unless there is a wireless router plugged in..
if you already have a wireless router.. the SECURITY CODE shud be provided by your wireless provider

REMEMBER: SIEMENS SPEEDSTREAM is not wireless capable
