Question about Sony KP-51HW40 51" Rear Projection Television
The double vision or ghosting is normally bad IC's. These are two large chips connected to two large heat sinks. You'll need to find the numbers printed on the chips and buy replacements. You will also need more heatsink grease to put between the new chips and heatsinks so don't forget to order that. It's a pretty easy fix and if you do a search here you will find tons of information on IC's replacement. Hope this helps.
