I understand that your Frigidaire dryer, model# FEQ1442ES, will not stay running. Please check to make sure the door is staying closed. If the door is opening in mid-cycle, then the dryer will stop running. Also, make sure the plug is in the socket tightly. Your dryer could be shaking the plug loose, which could possibly be causing it to stop running. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.
I understand that your Frigidaire Affinity dryer, model# FAQE7001LW, is running but there is no heat. Before calling a technician, check the following solutions:
1)Make sure that the two house fuses your dryer is attached to. If one of the two fuses is blown, the drum may turn but you won't receive any heat.
2)For Gas Models Only: Make sure the gas supply valve is open, make sure there is enough air supply to support the burner flame, and make sure the LP gas supply tank is not empty or there has been a utility interruption of the natural gas.
3)Check the lint filter, the ducting that leads outside, as well as the outside vent for any lint that might be clogged inside. This can cause a no heat issue, due to your dyer is not getting a good air flow.
4)For Electric Dryers Only: Make sure your dryer is connected to a 208 volt circuit.

I see that you are having trouble with your Frigidaire gas dryer heating. I also see that the vent is plugged. You definitely do not want that vent plugged. Your dryer needs proper ventilation in order for it to work correctly. The reason it might not be heating is due to the fact that that vent is plugged and is not getting enough ventilation. Unplug that vent, make sure that there is gas going to the appliance, and that the gas supply valve is open.
Most of your fuses for a Frigidaire dryer are upper right hand side of the rear bulkhead. Here is a westinghouse dryer video I made In the video I look for failed components and show the various parts, explain their function, and location.
1. Gas valve coils
Igniter glows, then shuts off without igniting gas - the problem is
probably with defective coils (black, located on top of the gas
valve). It is recommended to replace all coils (usually two or
three) if found defective.
Note: Sometimes the whole gas valve may be defective, thus not
letting the gas out. However, this problem is not common.
2. Thermal fuse
Most dryers have a thermal fuse, which burns out when the dryer
overheats, in which case the dryer will either not run at all or
stop heating. The fuse is usually located on the vent duct, inside the
dryer. A blown fuse will show no continuity when measured with a
meter. Before replacing the fuse, make sure the blower wheel is not
broken or clogged, and there is nothing blocking the venting.
Note: It is recommended by most dryer manufacturers to replace a
hi-limit thermostat when replacing a thermal fuse.
Igniter may burn out or break. Replace the igniter if found
Note: Igniters are very fragile and break easily. It is recommended
to handle the igniter only touching the ceramic part of it (usually
white in color).
4. Flame sensor (or radiant heat sensor)
Replace the sensor (located near the igniter) if found defective.
Hi, Is this an electric dryer? The model# shows that is it. If it is gas, you need to change the coils on the top of the gas valve. This is a very common problem with the newer gas dryers. We have them for $27.95. Our # is 1 866 798-4375 Make sure and check the venting to the ouside and make sre that it is clean and has no kinks.
If I can assist you further, please let me know.
There are 2 house fuses in the dryer circuit. If 1 of the 2 fuses is blown, the drum may turn but the heater will not operate. Gas supply valve is not open (gas models). Dryer does not have anough air supply to support the burner flame (gas models). LP gas supply tank is empty or there has been a utility interruption of natural gas (gas models).Replace fuse. Check to make sure supply valve is open. See INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS for procedure. See INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. Refill or replace tank. Dryer should heat when utility service is restored
