Hi,
usually "tick -tock" means the harddrive is dieing.
If I were you I would do a backup of my files and get the harddrive replaced a.s.a.p

I have only some Questions...what is the name of AMILO desktop Pi 3630?...can i change my hardware from vista to exp proffetional sp3?

Hi! What do you mean by what is the "name" of the amilo? It is a fujitsu siemens brand or you ment something else? As for downgrade, you can downgrade vista to xp if you got pro/ultimate of vista, if it came with vista home however, then you won't manage to do that. As for your hardware, well there speaks nothing against downgrading to xp as long as you have the xp drivers for your hw. You may run into audio problems though under xp sp3 if you are using the default hw setup of amilo. Please provide a full detail of your hw if you want to know whether all your hw has drivers for xp sp3. Let me know if this answered your questions :)

I have been using my external usb harddrive for recording (seagate freeagent pro) its been working fine for about a month but earlyer it just stopped, the power light went out and i havent been able to get...

External HDD are similar to the normal internal HDD, only difference is that The physical harddrive is only place into the casing with usb terminal port so you can remove the physical HDD. Your casing's usb terminal may be damaged. Borrow a casing for a external usb HDD from a friend that is working and use it to extract your data to a PC. Hope it helps.

press the Fn button at the very bottom on the left hand side of the keyboard. (its next to the ctrl button) press the Fn button together with F1. this should then bring up a box that says wireless status option. click in the circle for the on button and click the green tick. the wireless should now be switched on. Hope this helps.

Hi All,, I have a Fjitsu Siemens Amilo Pro V2060,, It`s working fine then screen goes blank,,greenish colour, i switch off, then on again everything fine,, this is periodic,, I have also noticed,, on...

Sounds like it is getting too hot. NEVER USE YOUR LAPTOP WITHOUT BEING PROPPED UP. Use a fan to blow on it while it is propped up.

Laptops breath from the bottom. If you leave it flat, it will get too hot. Also check the inside for dust or dog hair. Be very careful taking a laptop apart. Some mnfr sites have step by step directions. Do not take it apart if you are not sure that you can. You might be lucky that it is not damaged because a Pentium will shut down when it gets too hot most of the time.

Rate me if this helps.
