The unit is going into standby mode at random time intervals, can be switched back on immediately but sometimes displays "E01" before going back into standby mode.

E01 error, found it a problem with the brown-ish board with the on and off switch is on. Can't seem to fix it though, can you purchase just the board?

Your display is probably overheating. It has a built-in temperature safety switch which switches it off.

Pioneer plasma tv turns off every 15 minutes and has to be restarted and go off in 15 mins.

Sounds like it may be overheating. Make sure all the vents are clean and clear and the inside electronics are not covered in dust etc.

Tv powers up but goes directly into stand by mode

An Electronic component has failed. Unless you can repair circuits, take it to a shop or friend who can. Consider cost of replacement. A few hundred will fix an old tv, a couple more and you have a whole new unit.

Try restting it by unplugging the tv for a few mins and it should rest to original factory default settings but leave it unplugged 10-15 mins to be sure.

What you have done is change the input source. It will toggle through various modes like component, HDMI1, HDMI2, S-video etc., You should take a look behind the tv and see which input you have connected it into(usually HDMI 1 or HDMI2) then keep pressing the input button till it toggles back to that particular input.

I heard a pop from my tv and then the tv didn't work

Anything is repairable as long as the screen isn't damaged.
The sound you heard is most likely was a capacitor that just went dead.
Solder in a new capacitor should fix the problem. It would most likely be on the power supply board somewhere.

You'll need the Service Manual for parts list, diagrams, and schematics. Here's one place for that:

Any other questions just ask.

Pioneer PDP-4330HD - turns iteself off - resets

I bought a 503 which had this problem, it would stay on for anything between 10 mins & 3 hours.
the guy told me he had been told it was a condensation sensor.
All I did was take back off, blow it out all boards with an air line, disconect fans. I ve had it 6 months now with not a single problem.
