Battery needs replacement

Very useful advice...Not quite... It is obvious the battery needs replacement so How you replace the battery? How do you snap the casing of the H700 and get to the battery?

My H700 works for the first time I open the boom after its green light sais it's fully charged, but as soon as I close it, and re-open, it will not connect to my phone again, and the light shows up red when I re-plug it into the charger. The light turns green again within a minute, but won't connect with the phone unless it's been charging for at least 5 min after it turns green. I'm assuming this is a battery issue, which is frustrating, since it is a brand new device.

Unfortunate, I have a similar problem for a client of mine. The battery eventually dies after use, and is sometimes "BAD" on date of purchase. There is no fix as of yet, as the batteries are Li-ion, they are specially made for Motorola. Thus the odd voltage, 3.7 volts. You could put together several batteries together with a resistor on it, but I don't think you will like the results. Sorry, I've tried every thing I could to fix it, unfortunately if you don't have a broken headset to cannibalize from, you are screwed.

Hi alvaring

Use a med/thin guitar pick and slip it under the edge of the casings and run it around the perimeter to snap open the casing locks. This method works for all snap together devices, and I have not found a better way yet!! Good luck. A FixYa rating would be great for this bit of knowhow..

Hello Can you pls advice how to change the battery

You don't replace the battery, it is a rechargeable battery and can not be replaced. All you can do is recharge it. To do this read the directions in the manual. If you don't have a manual you can read the one at this link:

Blow gently on both the pins that sit up from the base and the hole the pins go into, if you have a soft brush, use that gently to clean.

check the pins are not bent or broken.

How to replace a battery

I checked the manual, available here ;
I can see no mention of battery replacement.
I looked on eBay and found no-one selling replacement batteries for the BT330.

The battery type used in headsets only lasts two to three years, so you may have to replace your headset. I noted a Jabra model BT2040 available that uses non rechargable AAAA batteries.

The headset on my CS7ON is no longer holding a charge over 3 hours? Batteries are obviously needed. Where can they be purchased? Our headset was originally purchased with Grand and Toy.

Unfortunately, the battery in the headset is not replaceable, but you can buy just the replacement headset that works with the base. Here is a link where you can buy the replacement headset:

Replace battery h700

Hi there,

Well you can please follow the below step -
1. Make sure you actually need battery replacements. Wrong use of the unit can lead to faulty functioning. If you have recently bought the device, charge the unit for approximately 2 hours and let the unit drain its energy completely before recharging to give the maximum battery life span.
2. Turn off the unit before attempting a battery replacement. Without doing so, the power disruption that the headset will acquire can damage the internal workings.
3. Find the even **** on the bottom side of the unit, where the microphone boom is attached.
4. Place the edge of the flathead screwdriver along these slits, and twist gently back and forth until the unit opens up. Do not completely open the unit up, however.
5. Find the small ring near the plug and the mini-USB port. Use the screwdriver to push under the ring where the battery is found. Push forward gently to pop the battery out. Please post comments for more help or information.........

Good Luck!!

Battery Replacement

well I know you can buy the battery in them from a third party but Not to sure if its really worth it. I do know there is and issue with these if they sit around for a while and not used it seems like the battery dies even more and then you can not charge it. If you come across not being able to charge it, what I did was take it apart and apply a 1.5 or a AA battery battery to the leads. You will need a multimeter to determine which is negative and positive but what I did was tape some 22 guage wire to the negative and positive ends of a AA battery and apply the positive of the AA to the positive of the battery in the treo and negative to negative. You only need to hold it there for 3-5 secs and then you should be able to charge it.
