Hi,

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

goodluck!

The fx-350MS does not have complex capabilities. You can do complex calculations the old-fashioned way, breaking each complex number into its real and imaginary components.

Your question (?) is not clear so I will not try to guess what you really mean.

Be it as it may, the Casio FX-9860G SD can solve a polynomial equation of degree 2 or 3 with REAL coefficients. If the complex MODE is set to REAL it will find the real roots. If the complex mode is set to** a+ib**, it will find the real and complex roots.

Apparently it will take coefficients that are real, and will give a Ma Error if any coefficient is complex.

You're in BASE-N mode for integer arithmetic. Press MODE 1 to get to COMP mode for real arithmetic or MODE 2 for CMPLX mode for complex arithmetic.

Actually, the answer is 79.

The fx-115ES does not have a key for the modulus operation. Nor does it have an integer-part or fractional-part operation. However, it is possible to calculate the remainder using integer arithmetic.

Press MODE 4 to shift into integer mode. Then type in 3 5 2 - 9 1 * ( 3 5 2 / 9 1 ) = and see the answer 79. It's a pain as both numbers have to be entered twice, but it does get the job done.

To get back to working with real numbers again, press MODE 1 ( or MODE 2 for complex).

You need to be in complex mode before you can do any calculations involving complex numbers. Press MODE 2 to switch to CMPLX mode. When you're done, press MODE 1 to switch back to COMP mode. (Yes, the names are confusing. I didn't pick them.)

By default the calculator only works with real numbers. To use complex numbers, press MODE 2 to switch to complex mode.

Below are simplified instructions. Skip any step you already know.

There are two ways to get out from the scientific or sci mode:

Press On.

Press the mode key a number of times until you reach the setup screen shown below.

Press the number key 3 and it will change the mode to Norm.

Or you can reset it as follows:

Press Shift Clr 3 = This will initialize the calculator.
