Why do you make the image suddenly 2 times smaller? This will give a major problem with pixel allocation in any program. The image should be completely fine if you resize it to the right format, but that's appearantly not what you want.
GIMP automatically scales pictures pretty well from the moment you export them from a CXF file.
GIMP is a program saved on your computer, you don't need to upload an image, but to simply open an image using GIMP. There are two ways to accomplish this:
File Browser While viewing your files, right-click on your image, and place the mouse over "Open With". This will bring up a new menu, from which you select "GIMP Image Editor". If GIMP is not an option, select "Other Application". This will bring up a list of applications for you to choose from. Scroll down until you see "GIMP Image Editor", select it, then click "Open".
From GIMP The second method is by running GIMP first, then clicking "File", then "Open". From there, find your image, select it, and then click "Open".
I can be more specific or provide screenshots if necessary. Hope this helped!
On the top right of your Gimp menu bar the word WINDOW will be there. Click on dockable dialogs and then click on tool options OR click on toolbox. You may have moved it under your operating system's task-bar.
Just HOLD CTRL and tap . You could also click on the word WINDOW in your GIMP menu bar and click on dock able dialogs and then layers OR below that click on LAYER, CHANNELS,......
Find the file you scanned and click on it.Windows picture and fax viewer will open it,bottom right corner is a picture with a paintbrush across it.Open it,and it will open in Paint. If you don't have paint, use http://www.gimp.org/
a Free photo editor.Right click your scanned image and in the pop up is "edit with Gimp"? I use this all the time to pick a "Window" out of a photo and enlarge or shrink it.Works for me!
First of all, make sure you have enough ram (I know, it sounds stupid, but you'd be surprised). Also, you should uninstall GIMP, reboot and reinstall it ONLY FROM gimp.org! Nowhere else. This is a common problem and happens to all of us from time to time. You can find additional help at:
your cam has to be setup on msn as well After you start Windows Live Messenger, expand the view by clicking on the square on top left next to the red X. Then on the Windows Live messenger window on the right side, click on “ “Show Menus.” And then click on “Show the Menu Bar”. Next go to the Menu Bar on right side, click on Action. Go to “TOOLS” and click “Audio and Video Setting and follow the instructions.
