I am at work where I rebuild circuit boards , so I dont have access to a pjone but I hust posted a message on how to remove the wire bridges from the power board. Just post a message if you need advice I will be on line all day ordering parts for the circuits I am rebuilding.

either is sound IC has blown, or the sound section of the tuner needs a repair. I have repaired many tuners for sound. Some technicians never repair a tuner hence it would need a replacement if it can be physically removed. If a tuner is printed on the main board the whole board may need to be replaced.
the famous codeerror 2- 2is for fault in power supply or faulty power supply board. this has to be checked. anderror 2-3is fault in convergence ic.so both the error codes are near to each other.so check out both options. i advise first replace the convergence ic on the board and check.the cost of each convergence stk ic is near to $15 .there are two such ic on the convergence board and both has to be replaced.then check out.if the problem is same go for power supply board replacement. the ic which you have to remove and replace is stk 393-110 both the ic looks same anve same number . you can get the required board and components at ----- www.partstore.com -------- or from ------ www.radioshack.com ---- --------- if you are not familiar with doing this you can get it done by local tv repair technician familiar with this model tv. ----------- This will help.Thanksplease keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya.
Always replace both once your going to the trouble each IC is usually less than $30.
This link will help show you what's involved. convergence output IC problem. convergence board would have to be removed - remove and replace 2 STK IC's and check the surrounding resistors. Shops usually $200-$400 Be sure to vote/rate me if this helped Thanks! See link for more detail http://www.ehow.com/how_4575598_yourself-projection-tv-repair-convergence.html
First: if you have never done this kind of repair--it is a little tricky on this set---WS-65869 uses a Single large convergence IC----with the back off it is located on a large metal heat sink in the middle of the board and foward----The best way to do this is remove the front speaker grill and plate in back of it and you will see the heat sink and IC. This set uses a STK-393-100 Ic----you can purchase it on Ebay from Surburban Electronics for about 13 dollars plus shipping---You really have to slide the whole chassis back a few inchs and remove all the screws that hold the board into the plastic frame-----there are several things you need to do to get the board out of the set--if you need more direct information I am in the San Diego area and you can email me at:
This is not a set I would suggest someone try to replace the IC who has never done it before-not the easiest set to do this repair on--I have done dozens of them and there are several places in the procedure where you need to be careful. If you manage to get the board out you also need to look at all the blue resistors in front of the IC( 3.9 ohm and blue in color---)if any of them are discolored they will also have to be replaced---they are protection parts in case the IC Shorts.
If this has been helpful give me a vote and if you need assistance email me.
A convergence IC has burned out. If I remember correctly, those Pioneer sets have one huge convergence IC, but that IC only has 5 channels in it so they use another smaller dual STK IC and one half of it is used for the 6th channel and the other half is the vertical output. Look on the convergence board, find the blue convergence jack, identify the blue horizontal channel, follow the traces and replace the IC handling the blue horizontal channel.
The colors weren't lining up correctly on my HC-P4752W which is only about 30 months old. I did a little bit of research and got ahold of the people at http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/ They recommended replacing the IC's as well as the IC resistors. I purchased the replacement parts from their site and made the repairs myself. I should mention that I didn't have any previous soldering experience. The repair was easy and a complete success. You may find replacement parts elsewhere for slightly cheaper but what you won't find is the prompt and detailed customer service that they provide. They gave me there # and said to call if I had any questions before or during repair. I took advantage of their services and got answers every time I called.
