Question about Whirlpool Ultimate Care II LSQ9564J Top Load Washer
The washer runs through all cyles well, including rinse and spin until the last spin cycle. The motor is working and and the lid switch works fine. I put a screwdriver to hold the switch and spun the basket and it began to spin normally, sometimes. .It does this on all cycles ,Delicate ,Heavy etc. Any suggestions?
If you're pushing the masket to get it moving, it's definitely oil on the clutch. Call Sears for a Service Smart Agreement. Tell them it pumps out but doesn't spin. They'll replace the transmission, clutch, and motor coupler (a $400.00 job) for about $250.00. Or, maybe it's (sadly) time for a new machine.
