I had a cell phone and i wore it out completely, i dropped it ALL THE TIME, i would accidentally leave it out in the rain, i would accidentally have it go through the washer and dryer, and yes i did have it dropped in water completely also!! it was my first phone but it wasnt that long ago, like a year and a half ago. everyone i asked what to do about would say that RIGHT AFTER IT HAPPENS to blow it with a blowdryer and dont try to turn it on, just leave it to dry. and thank god but everytime it would come back on and work everytime. i did have alot of trouble after a while of its damage though, like when i would go to turn it back on after it being in water it would vibrate uncontrollably, it would take over a minute to turn it on and the battery would run out very fast!!!

i hope i gave you some good info. but who knows it could be too late or the blowdryer could possibly not let it work again!! sorry!!

Nikon coolpix L3. It says lens error and the photo's are blurred ,is it worth fixing it?

I would say no it is not worth it. I would sell it for parts/repair on ebay/craigslist and purchase a replacement camera. The camera is 4 years old and technology has come a long in those 4 years so a camera that is better then that one can be bought from 60$ on up.
Thank you,
Lee

My Nikon coolpix L3 appeared LENS ERROR how do i solve this fault

Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ... Unfortunately, many cameras that fall prey to this can only be corrected by professional repair. But, here are some things that you can do that may correct it. They only seem to work for less than 40% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try.

Nikon lens 18--55mm stuck

Dropping is the most common cause or a knock whilst whilst the lens is out.
Dirt ingress is another possibilty.
It is almost always physical damage - or a low battery.
There is- as always this out of warranty items of this class no repair opportunity

NIKON COOLPIX L3

See my posts on this problem. By forcing the lens with you fingers into the camera, it may put it on track. This can damage the camera even further, but may be worth a try. You can try to pull it out when starting, and then pushing in on turning it off.
Worth a try, may work.

Dropped my coolpix L3 in the water

Probably no fix possible. If it was salt water, it is done. If it was normal clean water, you may still have a slight chance to get it going. Remove the batteries, and let it sit on a shelf for a couple weeks, that is to let it dry. Then put in the batteries and see what happens. You soon will know.If you have the patience, it may be better to take the back cover off, making a note of where the screws came from, to remember when putting together. Then let it dry for a few days.

Nikon Coolpix L3 thinks batteries are dead

I think this was a firmware fault on some cameras. Check with Nikon to see if there is a new firmware for your particular camera. This can be downloaded free of charge and uploaded to the camera via USB.

Nikon L3 Lens wont extend

Hi:
If the camera has not been abused, such as dropping, impact of some sort, or restricting the extending lens, then there is an internal problem.
See my other posts on suggestions of selling it.
