Question about Sony FD Trinitron WEGA KV-27FS100 27" TV
I have a Trinitron WEGA model # KV-27FS120, chassis style B06. At least, I think its a B06, the numbers have mostly flaked off. It was manufactured in Nov. 2005. When I plug it in and press the power button, it clicks, blinks four times, pauses, then blinks four times again. It continues this pattern until I unplug it. If someone could just point me to the right fuses, or whatever it is that is screwing up, I would really appreciate it. Also, I don't know too much other than how to solder and what a resistor looks like.
First, A resistor looks like a little tube with different colors placed in stripe form and has two ends or terminals. The colors represent the value the 1st and 2nd 3rd being the significant digits. The 3rd is the multiplier and the 4th is the tolerance.
Consider the vertical IC of your unit being the cause of this. Also, there are cases wherein the X-ray protector resistor is to be blamed.
