Today I looked at my outside screen to see who was call in when my phone rang. The screen was blue with no time or name for caller ID. I shut it off and pulled the Batt. out. I let it set for 1 or 2 minutes. and put the Batt. back in. I turned it back on and still got just a blue screen. The inside screen works just fine. Any Ideas.

Have you tried opening the phone? Most of the time you can improve this by using alcohol and a tooth
brush to remove corrosion from the lcd power strip and the board,a little heat from a blow dryer helps.
Does anything show on the external display if you go to take a picture, but before you acually take it, close the phone and look on the external display as if you were taking a self-portrait?
To make fully sure, while the phone is closed, press a volume button - does anything show on the display? If so, the external display functions and it would be a setting that may have been overlooked.
Go to Menu > Settings > Initial Setup > Display Timeout
Menu > Settings > Personalise > Home Screen
