Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console

1 Answer

Psp portable hi, i was going to play a new game for my psp. It asked me to update my psp to version 2.71 to be able to play. I then started it and asked if agreed to the user agreement. I agreed and then it started the process then i think it said to take the game out of the psp while updating . so i did then it said to put it back but i turned it off to see if it would stop the process . when i turned it on the screen was not showing anything, but the green light that indicated the whether the psp is on was still on. Now the psp is still like that what should I do ? thank you

Why psp games cant be started?

Hi,

If you are planning on playing the psp games from the umd then i guess you should not be having any problems, but with the latest update installed on your psp most times games stored on previous versions won't load. You'll have to hack the current software version your are running on.

Hope this worked.

PSP not loading game

Hi,

I guess you must have updated your psp to more recent version while you were online. This i guess is one of the reasons why your psp games on your memory card is not showing on the screen.

You'll need to check the version your psp is running at the moment by going to System Setting > System Information, and you'll see the version that your psp is sunning on. Most versions above Version 5 might not play games on your memory card. You'll have to use umd's to play games.

I cant play games from memory

Hi kalfan

What happened was that when you downgraded your PSP to -play game from your memory stick, that version was loaded onto your PSP for a reason. What you did now is install the latest firmware and that disabled you from playing games from your memory stick. You might have to get your PSP downgraded again with the older firmware version.

Sony psp

The first check the version you are running on psp, >> Go to the PSP Menu and move across to the "Settings Menu". Scroll down, select to "System Settings" >> "System Information" and you should see version of your PSP. If the UMD has a high version than ur console, u need to update ur psp.

see at my blog for psp update guides.
