Check if the battery is still alive. If it is try using different batteries than the one you are using. Or you can try taking the battery out of camera also the memory card as well and wait for about 30 sec then click the photo button twice without battery or memory then replace battery or recharged full battery. If it turns on then stick the memory card back in see what happens.

The lens does not have the electronics to communicate with the camera. You must set the camera to the Manual exposure mode (turn the mode dial to M). You set the shutter speed by turning the command dial on the back of the camera. You set the aperture by turning the aperture ring on the lens. You get no exposure help from the camera's exposure meter.
What you are seeing is a generic stuck lens error message, turning off the camera and turning it on again will not fix the lens unfortunately.
lens needs to be cleaned or repaired, and if it cant be repaired it
needs to be replaced. There are online places that will do it for a
decent price and there are others that overcharge by way too much.

ok a little water spilled in my bag but i took my camera out and completely wiped it off ..but now my camera is not turning quickly then when it does i cant turn it off, before it even got to the stage where it cant turn off messages like acrd locked showed up or the message e18 i need help its not even my camera
