Sansa e270 video problem

I got a sansa e270 with some messed up problems. I try converting the video into the device with the converter, and it seems as it worked fine. Instead, it made some random folders and file in my video folder, and when i turn my sansa on, it says . How do I fix this?

Yes. You need to use the supplied Sansa Media Converter program to convert videos (and photos) to a format the Sansa can handle.

Use the supplied Sansa Media Converter program to convert and transfer videos. If you don't have the SMC, you can download the Windows version from http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3IPZO6Q0

photos and video must go through conversion with bundled software; the expansion slot can be used with music only.make sure you convert your video first.

Can not transfer video from my coputer to sandisk e270

You must use the Sansa Media Converter to transfer videos. If the video is DRM-protected (many of Real's movies are), it may not actually convert. But if the video is DRM-free, then the Sansa Media Converter will perform the conversion and load the video onto the player. The Sansa Media Converter may or may not recognize the Real file format, so you may need to download an additional program such as Riva FLV Encoder to convert the Real video to AVI format first - then the Sansa Media Converter will recognize the file.

There is a new release of the Sansa Media Converter that fixes an issue where the audio and video are out of sync on some videos - available from Sandisk's website:
