Computer experts usually have software that can bypass or reset your password on your computer. Even Best Buy's Geek Squad could do it. It's usually simple and fairly cheap as long as you didn't use an encryption scheme.
If it's websites you're trying to get into, usually you can put in your email address and receive an email to change your password when you don't remember it.
If you've changed e-mail and never updated it on the website, you still might have a chance, your old e-mail could be available a year or more after you quit using it.

Farmville2 crashed and lost my money

Same thing happend to me on the Original Mafia Wars Game. I realised than that all these games store user information on a common drive, this means t is very easy for people to hack and very suceptable to data loss.

Need to reboot computer,windows98,invalid disk error

You have to go into your BIOS and select booting from Disk not hard drive when i say disk i mean either the cdrom or dvd disk players attached to your motherboard. also you can get a boot disk to try that at the link below.

System crashes completely. just freezes and never recovers. for some odd reason, when i try to run the windows repair, it crashes as well giving me the blue screen of death. i have three other hard drives:...

You are probably correct in thinking it a motherboard problem, its sounds like the disk controller on the motherboard id faulty.
There are a huge range of motherboards to choose from.
The mounting holes on the motherboard will match the desktop mounting plate, these are standard configurations.
Stick with the well known brands and with the functions that suit your requirements.
My choice of brands are Gigabyte, Intel, MSI.
If you are into gaming and video editing etc. go for a motherboard without a built-in graphics card and purchase a separate high end graphics card.

Cannot get windows xp back on to my computer.

Assuming the computer has a Microsoft XP product code tag on it (so you can be legit & legal), see if you can borrow an XP installation CD from a friend.

Sometimes the reinstall is set up on a separate partition on the hard disk, which of course, is totally useless if the hard drive has failed in a catastrophic way.

You could also contact Packard Bell (I thought this company was history), to see if replacement disk(s) are available. Have your computer's Model & Serial handy. The disks won't be free, but likely much less than a Walmart etc, supplied edition.

I need to crash my acer 5100 laptop so i can reboot it to the factory state

no need to crash it, j

ust save your important documents on an external drive (or a USB flash), restart the computer, when it is booting click and hold ALT+F10

this will initiate a restore procedure to original factory state, remember all documents and files will be lost, so back them up externally before you do this
