Toshiba Satellite A105 Screen Problem

For a while before this problem began i had noticed some slight discoloration on the right side of my screen but didn't think much of it. Now, however, about 2 inches from the top of my screen a line will come up and everything below it will go completely black, and if i leave it long enough, sometimes it will slowly go white. However if i flex my screen back and forth and apply pressure to the top left side of my screen it will usually come back up again and work like normal. what do you think the problem is?
