The bearing goes into a center hole in the back. A little ***** bad weather notification pops up and just wipes out my typing every so often. Darn it.

Precor treadmill making squeaking noise when running fast

Two likely candidates: Belt or tread. Lubricating the tread would be the easiest starting point; but if you're running at 7 or more you've probably already thought of that.
If the cover isn't too difficult to remove, you can expose the drive belt and the squeaking volume change would be an indicator that the drive belt is the problem.

My 2011 Nissan Rogue has a squeaking sound when making a left turn.

Does it squeak only when you turn left ? Pour a bit of water ( about 2 teaspoonful on the belt and see if noise stops. Also check if left wheel is not touching the mud cover.thanks. Is power steering fluid level ok ?

Dryer is squeaking, but I'm reading about several possible solutions. Could it be a belt, guides, or bearing, or all 3?

I previously worked on an electric version of this drier. You're right it could be any of the above. To diagnose you need to:
1. disconnect everything - at least switch off electricity and disconnect the duct so you can remove the back cover, and / or tip it on its side.
2. the electric motor is near the bottom with the drive belt looping up over the drum.
3. Is the drive belt loose? Pull on it (or the the drum) to test for slippage. If so that's your problem. Repair /recondition /replace as appropriate.
4. If the belt was tight, run the drier on cold with the cover off (taking appropriate safety precautions, and listen to hear where the squeaking is coming from.
5. If its the motor, you have a bearing problem, otherwise consider guides.

The motor squeaks both on the up and down modes. model no. 248739m. ?It is two weeks old and squeaked from day one.

I just installed this opener 1 week ago and the same thing happened. I remembered there is a "Belt Cap Retainer" that covers the motor sprocket and is held on with 2 screws. I removed the cover and the squeaking stopped. There is a small dab of grease (silicone?) that the instructions did not mention. I spread the grease around the cover next to were the belt travels and put the cover back on careful not to over tighten the screws. No more squeak!

Do you mean pulleys? Squeaks or Squeals ? Try some belt dressing, or to locate the culprit remove one belt at a time to see what belts and or pulleys are making the noise...

With every step I get squeak / chirp while running on treadmill.

Check the knob used to hold it up in the folded position. While running, have someone pull it to the out position. That was the problem on mine. If it is, a little grease on the end of the rod should do it.

2003 Volkswagen Jetta squeaking noise!

As you probably know squeaking could be alot of things, but the most common noise, that would not effect performance, would be serpentine belts. You can buy a can of belt dressing at Autozone, that you spray on the inside, the contact side, of the belt. If it is the belt, this should help. If it's been a long time since replaced you may want to replace belt. Alot of those belts will break after being worn out, but the better quality belts may not break, but they will make a horrendous squealing noise. If it's not the belt, you'd have to have someone look at it to troubleshoot. Good luck.

05 XL-7 I changed my old belts (with no squeaking) now one of the new belts squeaks loud, mostly in the morning when neighbors can hear and give dirty looks, like "get a new belt you incompetent grease...

Take a bar of soap at touch it on the side of belt when it is running. Becareful!!! or spray some WD40 on it. Should stop it. If not it must be something wrong with whatever it is running. If that is a serpentine belt spray it. Soap is good on v-belts.
