Question about Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
My sstem loads properly, but once it gets to the window descktop screen, it goes black, but the mouse cursor is still active???
Boot in safe mode and log on to ur system with administrator account. Might be ur user profile is corrupted. Locate and delete the profile after taking backup of your Documents and Desktop. Restart the sytem and logon with the same user name and password and it will create a new profile again.
