Try buying a DVD cleaner disc at Radio Shack or Walmart
See if that helps.

I just hooked up my DVD player (Panasonic DVD-RP82) to my television. I have audio and visual now, but I the colour is in black and white. How do I fix this? i have tried many combos of plug ins. Thanks.

it has something to do with your TV's video system and your player's video system...they should match...that is,PAL-PAL,NTSC-NTSC and etc..or if your tv has a multisystem then just set it to AUTO..

DVD stopped playing all DVDs

Reset you player by doing the following:
With the player on, hooked properly to your television, and on the correct station:
Open the tray
Close the tray (with no DVD inserted)
Hold the stop button down for a full 5 seconds
The CyberHome screen should appear. You should be able to play your dvd's now.
