Water damaged cell phone microphone

Hello.

Diagnosis:

Your Nokia 6350 Inner Microphone is defective.

Causes:

The Phone was dropped or smashed.
The Phone got liquid damage.

Solution :

Replace the Microphone.
Not an easy task to do, doing this repair procedure with no Professional Tools, may cause further damage to your phone.

In this Case,i recommend you :

• (if you still under warranty) to give it to your nearest "Genuine" Nokia Shop for reparation.
  
• a trusted Phone repair shop, this repair won't cost you less than 12-15$.

Hi, when some one calls you on a cell phone and you can hear,but they can't hear you is when the mouth piece of the phone your using is faulty.

Here's a Nokia 6700 slide mic solution that may possibly help fix and repair if the microphone doesn't work. This solution will show some useful hints on how to fix a not working microphone on nokia 6700 slide.

If ever encountered to fix the microphone problem on 6700 slide, you may need to check the flex ribbon cable first fir possible damaged or replace it with a new replacement spare. The digital microphone is being mounted on the flex assembly of the device.

ur microphone may be damaged

This is Jon from the Cell Phone Guy in Sioux Falls SD. I do repairs on cell phones all day everyday and see alot or similar problems. It sounds like there is a problem with your microphone. Have you ever had water damage? if so there is a 50/50 shot a may work again. We use an altrasonic cleaner whenever there is a water damaged phone for repair and its not always a guarantee but it seems to do the trick most of the time. If there has been no water damage to your phone to your knowledge it may be that there is just a loose connections? or that the microphone has gone out that is a bigger issue. on most phones the microphone is soldered onto the mother board of the phone making it very difficult to replace or repair. if you would like to discuss it more you can send me an email at [email protected] to diagnose the problem further

usually this problem come from dust or water damage on microphone.need change mic.or clean of dirty<inside your mobile>if you have not special tools and skills go to service

its so simple ,your microphone might be dameged.try to record sound on your phone.it might be a failiure.also try the hedset while phoning.if then there is no problem you will have to replace or repare your mic

yah.... your mouthpiece might be distorted...
go to the nearest sevice center and ask them to replace the mouth piece.....or microphone either....

Now again disassembel your phone and put the mic. It will be ok.

i think there is some miscontact in the microphone or the microphone is damaged ...
you can solve this simple problem by just replacing the microphone ...
if you are afraid of opening then just take your cell to technician
...
get the microphone replaced .. this doesnt cost much ..
as u have told that it is not even 1 yr old so if you have warranty then just take the cell to the showroom from which you buyed it
..

buy a new mic on ebay and fit it your self will take under 15 minutes and the instructions are on the internet
