How did he turn it on? Maybe the button is stuck on the front of the set, otherwise it could be the power supply

My son stepped on a remote control for a DVR. The Sony Trinitron Wega KD 32FS130 went blank. Now it won't come on, goes into standby mode, with the red light blinking four times. Any suggestions?


It is possible that the button your son stepped on is stuck. If so, remove the batteries form the DVR remote control and see if the TV works. Unplug the TV from the wall for a few minutes to clear its memory to be sure. Some times remote controllers can have cross-talk, meaning it can affect other equipment,

1) Try hard reset = unplug AC cords for awhile,then try again.

2) Check with cable company about cable box.......T.
