Hi,
I,d suggest that this is a Graphics card problem, rather than the Monitor.
Try the monitor on a different computer, or try a different Graphics Card.
Also Check in The bios Setup, that it,s configured to boot up a PCI Or AGP Card, Whichevers Applicable.

IBM 8303 DOESN'T SUPPORT MY FLATSCREEN HP VS15

2 steps:

1. plug the hp vs15 into another computer and see if it works, if not could be a bad monitor.
2. If you have the old monitor, plug it in to the IBM computer and in windows lower the resolution down to 640 X 480. Now turn off the computer and plug in the VS15 monitor. If resolution was an issue it should work now.

Hope this helps

I have an hp pavilion computer it turns on fine but my monitor is not displaying anything

Before you turn the power onto the computer make sure you have the monitor on. When you power the computer up you should see a very quick flash as the computer boots up. If you don't your monitor is either bad or your video card. Make sure the monitor is plugged in tightly into the adapter that it fits into.

Power saver mode problem.

Reset the Memory cards.
And if you have video card reset the video card as well.
and it will work fine and even if it does the same issue your memory or Video card needs to be replaced.

HP desktop monitor problem

hi try this ,,,
  1. Ensure the video cable is connected (and connected to the correct video port).
  2. Turn off the monitor using the monitor's power button and then restart the monitor.
  3. Cycle the power on the monitor as follows:
  4. Turn off the monitor. The power light on the monitor should be off. Leave the computer turned on.
  5. Unplug the power cord.
  6. Wait 5 seconds.
  7. Plug in the power cord.
  8. Press the power button on the monitor to turn on the monitor. One of two things happens:
    1. The image from the computer displays on the monitor and you can use the computer again. This indicates that the monitor was unable to detect that the computer had awakened from suspend mode. Turn the monitor off when it is not being used or disable suspend mode. For some computers, updating the BIOS corrects these types of suspend problems.
    2. The power light on the monitor comes on but the screen displays one of the messages again. The monitor is not receiving a video signal from the computer that it can detect and use. Continue using these steps to adjust the Windows display resolution to the Monitor's native (default) resolution
    3. Connect the monitor to another computer that you know is working to determine if the monitor should be serviced or replaced:
      • If the monitor displays an image from another computer, you know that the monitor works. Troubleshoot the video connection and graphics adapter on the computer.
      • If the monitor remain blank when connected to another computer, the monitor signal processing hardware may be bad. The monitor should be repaired or replaced.
hope it will work for u .. little_angel

System crash--won't boot up

The intermittent beeping is the error code. It is important that you notice how many beeps your computer makes.
Then, you can go to the following link (from HP) http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=bph07107&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=71010&lang=en
and check what is wrong with your computer.

Anyway, you can always recover the information on your computer, but will have to take the hard disk out of the computer and plug it onto another as a secondary hard disk.
