Missing local area network

It is possible that the drivers for your modem, or wireless card that you have in your computer wasn't on the disk that you had. That came with your comptuer that you installed on your new hardrive.

go to http://drivers.com/

They have a Free Driver Scan program that you can scan your comptuer, see if your missing or need to update any drivers for what you have. Then you can download the drivers for free.

Good luck.

Please rate me, and give feed back, or recommend me it be much helpful.

What you are doing is about right, and you will have to go the registry and remove bad or corrupt files there. double check to see if your NIC have any jumpers that may need to be set. In the past I have gone to the manufacturer of the hardware and downloaded their driver and have had success. You may need to utilize another computer, but it is worth it. Good Luck

Had to format acer laptop 13680 and now cant find the wire less network adaptor

got to the acer website and download the driver for the wireless network adapter, if you have any disks you may already have it. You of course will have to use another computer or a differetn connection, all you need is the driver, heck use a friends computer if you have to and save it to a portable drive or something.

Gateway 505GR not showing LAN line for internet

assuming it's XP,right click my computer>properties>hardware tab>device manager, then look down list for network adapters, if its there click the '+' sign, then right click on the network adapter and select uninstall.

Restart pc and the network card will be found and the driver automatically installed.

It should now be in network connections, if not reply back

At wits end

copule things you could try that may help. first, see if you can get your motherboard brand name look for network card drivers that came with it. now you could do either two things. go to the original manufacture and try to have them send you a the drivers for your original pc which might be for a fee. or the fee is to much. I would sugesst you buy a new network card. I t would include the drivers. And its much faster and quicker and save all the hassle.

PS shop around first for best price at either Staplles - Radio Shack- Or Best Buy!!!

Good Luck hope this helps
god bless

Ethernet, Multimedia, Video Controller is not recognized

IBM has the worst site I have seen so far for driver downloads. I have posted a link for you to go to IBM. You'll have to go through the downloads & find what you need. Like Lan drivers, audio drivers, video & so forth. You may find a restore CD download. You do not want to install the restore CD. Just pull the drivers off of it. http://www.ibm.com/search/?v=14&en=utf&lang=en&cc=us&hpp=10&catx=Y1zkzPz66zazbAzNA&q=ThinkCentre+A50p&cp=top&lv=c&cat=P9&x=10&y=10
Good luck, this will take some time but should also work for you!
