Re: STUCK IN ALIGN PAGE MODE
Perform a semi-full reset on the all-in-one by following the steps below
1 Take out the cartridges from the unit . 2 Make sure the unit is connected to the wall jack directly without any surge protector. 3 Unplug the power cord from the back of the unit ( without turning off the unit ) . 4 Now press the # and 6 key together , while holding these keys down plug in the power cord back into the unit . 5 Do not release the keys after a few seconds u will find te hp logo or bars moving across the screen .wait while the unit turns off. 6 after one minute turn on the prnter . it will go into alligment phase > let it finish .
7 Allow the all-in-one to re-initialize. This may take a minute or two.
8 If prompts appear in the all-in-one display to set the front panel language and country settings, perform the steps to set this information

Try to re-seat your cartridges and make sure they are properly inserted in the cartridge carrier. If that doesn't help, please do the Align Cartridges function on your printer. From the printer operator panel, while on Copy mode, press the Menu button > Tools > Maintenance > Align Cartridges. You printer will then print a test page that will help align the cartridges. After the page is printed, try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed. Thanks.
this is a simple problem, the technology that printer aligns its print head automatically by the reading the align page, if your printer head are not in good health/clogged align print wont come properly result align pending..When printer gets power on its prints align page till align completes. Go to tool box in system all programme, perform clean print head, check the quality of printer outs then ask to printer to align.. if its not completing replace print heads..
The printer needs to be aligned and it wasn't done after changing the catridge so it does not want to continue. Have you tried pushing the flashing copy button to print another alignment page? Do you know how to align the printer?
After changing a cartridge the printer wants to print an alignment page to make sure that it prints correctly. Some printers have you print a page and they auto align themselves. Others cue you to print the alignment page which has a picture or other graphics that are in specific places and then it instructs you to insert the alignment page face down and press "ok". The printer scans the alignment page and configures the print heads to set up by the marks. It uses the alignment page as a map of where the print should be on the paper.
Try unplugging the printer from the power supply and wait about 30 seconds. Then plug it back in and turn it on. The display should say "print alignment page". Choose yes or confirm to continue. Your printer will either print the page and align itself, or print the page and tell you to insert it and continue. Either way follow the prompts and complete the alignment process in order to continue printing as normal.
If you are unable to get the printer to reset and start the alignment procedure over again, please advise and I will help you solve this problem.
