I didn't even ask about sub woofer and speaker problems. I asked about clutch arm linkage for a 1974 Ford F350 1 ton truck.

Hi, have just had a new clutch fitted to my 03 Fiesta, they disconnected the battery and now the radio needs a code - which I have, of course lost. The serial no. of radio is M158259. Can you help...

Welcome to FixYa.

The problem with these security codes is that each radio carries a code that is unique and individual to the serial of radio itself. There is no master code for these radios. The good news is they can be decoded online once you have the serial number like you already have..

Ford will charge £25 for supplying you with this code and this is why I always recommend this site which does them for only £5.99

Hope this helps. Thanks for using FixYa.

1974 VW Beetle Stalling every 100 yards & not out of fuel - any ideas please

One thing you could try is , looking at the fuel pump push rod ! Take off the fuel pump and examine the lever and pump arm for wear, if they are worn you can run out of fuel while under driving conditions but it may tick-over all day long ! A thinner fuel pump gasket or longer push rod (preferably) should help .
Good luck.

Just wanting to know how to drive a manual car.

Hi and thank you for using fixya:
Make sure the car is in neutral and start it up. clutch down and first gear then release little by little the clutch while you gas. then repeat process for every gear.
thanks

Radio code

Check under the fuse box and on the side of the glovebox. Some dealerships will put stickers there with codes for radio and nav.

You may find what you need at partsexpress.com . They have everything, plus some. They also have free catalogs which have tons of car audio acessories that you would normally pay an arm an a leg for.
