What might be wrong?

Purchased our Panasonic SC-HT75 unit in 2002 - had nothing but problems back & forth to repairers - now we have F61 error... It plays for a while, then switches itself off with a F61 error, or we may have had the system turned off for a while, turn it on to play a DVD or radio and get an F61 error. We have switched the unit off, turned off at powerpoint for extended periods of time - all with same result. Would love to hear if anyone has a solution... Brad

You have a problem with speaker cords:-
1-make marks with tape or any marker pen in all speaker cords(left-right-sub- front-rear).
2-after marking remove all speaker cords.
3-insert them one by one until f61 appear.
4-the cord that connected and make the trouble is bad please change it with new one.

When turning on F61 shows on the display and will not turn on

People say that it is a fan problem - when it gets stuck with dust or does not work properly the system recognizes it and gets blocked in order to prevent overheating of the components. I changed the fan but the problem with F61 presists despite people say that changing the fan would solve the problem.

F02 keeps showing on display

If, after
four (4) minutes the pressure switch still senses foam in the wash tub, the Central Control Unit will
go into Failure Mode. The digital display will show, F02.
Cause: wrong detergent, too much of the right detergent, detergent placed in wrong compartment.

Repeated F61 fault code on Panasonic Home cinema system Model: SC-HT990 Is it the fan in the sub woofer?

Hello

F 61 error means the failure of FAN
most probably dust in the fan made it to stop working so clean the dust and connect the fan to an external supply of 12v(using red and black wire) for 5 minutes and reconnect it to the unit otherwise replace the fan with new one.
Surely this will solve the problem.

Kind regards

NEED TO AVERAGE CELLS, WHERE ONE OR MORE CELLS CONTAIN ''0'' OR ''#D

Try this. If any of the cells are zero (or blank), the word 'zero' will be displayed. Substitute anything you want for the text including blank ""

=IF(OR(F61=0,J61=0,N61=0),"zero",AVERAGE(F61,J61,N61))

POSSIBLE FAULT CODE

Yes, it is possible. The F61 error is a failure in the power supply or the amplifier. I repair these every day and it will require good soldering and troubleshooting skills to fix this yourself.

If you would like to try, let me know, and I will give you more information. But the best thing to do is take it to a service center and let a professional technician check it out for you.
