Question about HP DeskJet 3820 InkJet Printer
I have a HP Deskjet 3820 and when I print it states "System Error. The document can not be printed due to a system error."
I had problems with my computer this morning as far as an "Application Svc error" that I fixed and now the printer is not working.
I removed the HP software and reinstalled it and still get the error. The printer moves and spits out paper but doesn't print. Since it moves and spits out paper, I believe it is talking to the computer but don't know why it is not printing...
Try disconnecting from computer, and run the test page from the panel..then, reconnect to computer and see if it repeats..sounds like the operating system may have lost the printer drivers..
