I installed a tview in my truck today it works ok but when i turn my headlights on it goes to rearview and i cant listen to music

Could be a defective headlight relay, Located in the fuse block in engine compartment,

the turn signal multifunction switch is prabably the problem. Very common failure. The fact that you said if you held it in differnet positions and got different results tells me to replace it .

Try and press pause before you shut the player off.

auto dims the glass for the headlights at nighttime so the people behind you dont blind you.

No you need a new battery or alt. or both running a stereo will kill both faster. and could carosion faster too.

I drop all downloaded music to one place, then get WindowsMediaPlayer to look there for music ln the add files to libary.
When this is done just "Sync" your device in WMP and choose the files you want to add.

Sounds like it's froze and needs to be reset. -
Press to power on/off, enter menu, or hold 15
seconds to reset your Sansa.
Or-To reset the sansa = Hold down power button for20 seconds.

If that don't work let me know so i can try something Else?

ok I had this happen before
Try unplugging the possitvive battery from your car let sit for 5min or open the doors and turn the key making sure that your car is completly dead. then put the possitive wire back on.
this will reset the deck and make sure you also have the setting s correct I thin it called I tunes is set to on in the menu opptions
