Signal drifts on and off channel after many days of warm up. Sometimes its there but mostly not. receiver is 1.5 years old an out of warranty- yes i have called and talked with the skyvision tech 9 my suppllier but she refused to fix it even after many calls on setup and operations/warmuping time.
I have 43 years of component level repair an this makes me warm up about warranties an such so i openned the set for inspection and found a standard capacitor tacked on poorly next to the oscillator crystal. Chances are there has been a problem with some units to run at specification. The power supply appears tobe engineered to bearly work off the shelf but the main board looks like a good all surface mount board from a quality manufacture.

Just because you added them don't mean that they are available or broadcasting. First of all where are you getting the signal from. Cable or over the air (antenna) ? If you are receiving over air free TV you may not have a strong enough signal. The best way to add channels is to do a scan and let your TV find them automatically. For over air broadcast sometimes your TV will find channels that are not quite a strong enough signal to play depending on your location from the the station transmitter. Note that relocating the receiving antenna or getting a better one will usually fix this problem.
Now if your receiving Cable then you have another issue.
The only channels that you will be able to receive directly with your TV is the ones that come with the basic service the rest will be scrambled and will require that you pay a subscription an be connected through one of there box's which contains the descrambler that can turn on or off from the cable company office.
Hope this helps.

there could be several reasons for this......have you checked the signal you are getting when attempting to recieve?....if you have a good signal at the time then i would suggest contacting your wireless provider for assistance since im sure you pay hard earned money for this feature
