A lot of fans have a clicking noise if they have a chain hanging down and the balance is not perfect and the fan wiggles a little. It will only happen at certain speeds that are "resonant" where the swinging can build up. The pull chain then makes the noise as it hit the case.

Yes, these fans DO get out of balance, very often.
Another source of clicking if the fan sways even a tiny bit is if you have lights under it that have the glass things held by three screws... those often click if the fan sways a tiny but as it rotates.
Another source is the ball nearings can make a bit of noise.
Yet another source is the down rod to hanger joint. Any small swaying can make a lot of clicking as the hanger moves.
Balancing these fans is a real pain... I have added washers to the screws to add weight. One can add rubber bands to bllades to try to find a better balance then replace with extra washers.

There is no hanging chain on the fan, as it has a remote control. I know that fans can get off-balance, but they shouldn't, should they? And my question still exists, do I have someone come to fix this problem, or could it be a warranty issue, and how do I proceed at this point? Thanks!
