hi, can you tell us how far you get before the car refuses, does it turn over on the starter? what is the engine? are there anyy symptoms associated with the non start? i.e. does the starter refuse to turn? does it sound healthy when the key is turned? was the re any problem before the problem happened?

starter is located on the front side of the motor, easiest way to reach it is from underneath just between the radiator and the motor, two 13mm bolts hold it to the transmission
call a locksmith, they do this kind of job everyday. tell him you want th ebroken key removed fron the Ignition switch lock cylinder. Not igntion starter.
there are 4 wires go to alternator
2 white wires go to battery
1 black wire goes to ground
1 yellow/black goes to bulb check relay
starter has only two wires
the big one goes to the battery and the small one goes to ignition system. you can not mix the terminals because the size of the studs on the starter
Hello, I would assume this is a starter problem. You can go to Autozone and get a free diagnostic of your electrical system for free and tell you if your starter, alternator, battery is bad and/or if you have any trouble codes present in your system. I would also check your battery connections to see if they are tight and I would also check and see if your starter cables are tight as well. I hope this helps you and Good Luck!
